How to: Install the Gingerbread Keyboard: android 2.3, on your Android Phone

               You can have android Gingerbread Keyboard on your Android phone. But first, your phone must be rooted and must have custom recovery image (Android 2.2). You must have android 2.2. But android 2.3 will work more better. Multitouch feature will work better in android 2.3 and it won't work better on android 2.2 because of missing framework. So, to begin download Gingerbread Keyboard.zip file from the internet.



1. Download the Gingerbread Keyboard.zip file

2. Plug your phone via USB cable and mount the sd card.

3. Copy that file but don't extract it. and unplug the phone.

4. Boot phone into recovery mode.

5.Click on Nandroid and make a backup( in case).

6. Click on Flash from sd and choose keyboard.zip file and wait until it is installed.

7. Once installed, reboot the phone

8. Once reboot, go to message and in input box hold it.

9. Once the edit text box will popup select input method.

10.Then select Android keyboard. And its Done.

11. Have fun...
